Shake Shack describes itself as a modern day “roadside” burger stand serving a classic American menu of premium burgers, hot dogs, crinkle-cut fries, shakes, frozen custard, beer, and wine. Offering fresh, simple, high-quality food at a great value, Shake Shack is a fun and lively community-gathering place with widespread appeal.

As of December 2020, Shake Shack operated 183 domestic company-operated Shacks and 22 domestic licensed Shacks were operating in 30 states and Washington, D.C.; outside of the U.S., there were 106 international licensed Shacks in 15 countries. Among the new cities now home to Shake Shack are Sacramento, Oakland, and Madison.

NRTA partner committed to the global good

Shake Shack is committed to doing the right thing for their teams, guests, and communities, saying, “We hold each other accountable and take care of one another. We Stand For Something Good.” In response to the unprecedented strain on frontline and healthcare workers at the start of the pandemic, Shake Shack teams around the U.S. banded together to deliver over 6,000 meals directly to the frontlines from February to April 2020. In addition, Shake Shack teams delivered another 5,000+ meals, funded by guests, to frontline first responders.
