NRTA Executive Director Lisa Krizek recently announced the addition of Industry Leader Kathy Powers-Middlecoop to the Certified Commercial Lease Administrator “CCLA” 2025 Faculty

“NRTA is incredibly fortunate to have Kathy Powers-Middlecoop supporting our CCLA educational program in the new Teaching Assistant role,” said Lisa Krizek.

“Kathy is longtime, valued member of our curriculum team with extensive professional experience and a proven history of dedicated support of our community. We’re excited about the positive impact she will bring to our CCLA cohort.”

An expert in lease administration with 35+ years of corporate lease administration and location development, Kathy has extensive experience managing and negotiating real estate portfolios. She is passionate about empowering CCLA participants with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in this dynamic industry.  

 

“I believe that my passion for lease administration, combined with my commitment to education and mentorship, will make me an asset to the Certified Lease Administration Program,” she said. “Having benefited immensely from the knowledge and expertise shared through the NRTA, I am eager to contribute to the professional development of others in this vital field.”

Outlining Agenda to Enhance NRTA’s CCLA Certificate Experience

Kathy is committed to enhancing the CCLA educational experience. In addition to her routine responsibilities of collecting and grading homework assignments, and facilitating interaction among peer and faculty, Kathy is committed to:

 

  • Sharing Practical Insights: Bridging the gap between theory and practice by sharing real-world examples and best practices gleaned from my own career.
  • Providing Personalized Support: Offering individualized guidance and answering questions to ensure each participant’s comprehension and success.
  • Reinforcing Core Principles: Strengthening participants’ understanding of the fundamental principles of lease administration, enabling them to excel in their roles.
  • Facilitating Learning: Creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where participants can effectively grasp complex concepts.
  • Being a resource: Acting as a point of contact for students and helping them find the answers that they need.
