Kimberly W
“I started as the Manager of Lease Accounting in 2005 and grew my department over the years by optimizing ideas learned through my involvement with the NRTA. I attended my first conference one month after I was hired and picked up so many helpful training classes to understand the leasing world – I have made it a point to return every year.

I also began a wonderful adventure of networking with some of the smartest people in the industry that shared their knowledge and ideas with me. The NRTA conference created that platform of idea exchanges and peer support. I would not be where I am today without the NRTA.”

“Attending the 2024 NRTA Conference gave me the opportunity to meet others in the retail industry who were much like myself. We were able to bounce ideas off one another and build relationships. Both business and personal. I’m happy to say I’ve stayed in touch with people I met and have made plans to visit in the future.

Networking with likeminded professionals can be a proven way to increase solutions in the workplace. A great time was had by all.”

“The NRTA is a great (and only) organization to learn about best practices for Lease Administrators, Lease Accountants, Lease Auditors, Lease Abstractors, and anyone else that deals with commercial leases. At Lease Administration Solutions, we have been sending our people to the NRTA for training since it started 29 years ago.

What differentiates this conference from other conferences is its peers learning from peers. So, it is real-life learning from someone who has learned it in real life. Give it a try, I'm sure what you learn at the conference will increase your knowledge and save money for your company.”

“Getting to know such a friendly and welcoming group of people over the last 5 years has been so enlightening — to see the sheer level of expertise and enthusiasm other members have for this industry.

As a third party tenant vendor within a large company, it’s easy to sort of stay in my bubble, but the NRTA has introduced me to networking opportunities I would not have had otherwise. Attending conferences has allowed me to relate better to my own clients by giving me visibility to how other companies’ real estate and lease administration departments operate.”

“Being involved in the NRTA has truly been one of the most valuable and rewarding experiences in my professional life. The NRTA National Conferences and other educational and networking opportunities have made me a better transaction leasing attorney — by giving me insider insights into what’s going on in the industry — as well as the business and financial concerns and perspectives of tenants and landlords.

On a more personal note, some of my dearest friends are people I have met and worked with through the NRTA.”

“I am living proof of the professional benefits and career growth that you can experience through the conference and other NRTA interaction. I have received, and ultimately accepted, a few career offers that came my way directly from meeting and interacting with other NRTA peers who felt they wanted me on their company team."
