Lease Administration Solutions, LLC a leader in Retail, Office, Mixed Use and Industrial lease auditing, lease administration, and lease abstracting currently has an immediate opening for a full- time experienced Lease Auditor (s). This position will be directly responsible for providing lease audit services to our clients. The ideal candidate must have a good knowledge of commercial real estate with emphasis on Common Area Maintenance and/or operating expense reconciliations. (Only experienced Lease Auditors or Lease Administrators apply

Responsibilities:

  • Verification of lease compliance for all lease-related payments, including base rent, percentage rent, operating expense, CAM, real estate tax, and insurance obligations
  • Performing detailed analysis and reconciliation of invoices and annual operating expense statements
  • Conduct lease audits on landlord reconciliations “desktop audits” at our office or remotely.
  • Acting as tenant liaison between the client and the landlord during the audit process.
  • Writing up audit findings in a formal audit report to the client
  • Negotiating and resolve disputed charges on behalf of client

Requirements:

  • 2 or more years of prior lease audit experienced required with lease administration in a large tenant environment a plus.
  • Ability to understand, interpret and abstract complex commercial lease terminology
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Word and proficiency using lease management databases
  • Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability To Work Independently
  • Capability to manage multiple client projects with time sensitive deadlines
  • Experience in lease audit negotiation and lease audit resolution  
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
