NATIONAL REAL ESTATE TENANTS ASSOCIATION wrapped up its pioneering Certified Commercial Lease Administrator “CCLA” Certificate program in December. This achievement capped off a year of significant success that also included a rebranding milestone, expanded educational and membership opportunities, and so much more.
NRTA’s Certified Commercial Lease Administrator Program now boasts a distinguished faculty of seven expert presenters. We were thrilled to welcome Matt Waters, CPA, whose expertise further enhances the program’s value. This comprehensive certification program continues to set the standard for professional excellence in lease administration.
We also witnessed a Rebranding Milestone in 2024. NRTA took a significant step in its rebranding journey this year by adopting a new online URL: NRTA.org.
This update symbolizes the association’s growth and evolution. The “New NRTA” reflects a broader appeal and enhanced value propositions, attracting a diverse array of commercial tenants who value the opportunity to establish professional standards and practices under one unified, reliable organization.
NRTA Expanded Educational Offerings
- Excel Bootcamp for Lease Management Professionals: NRTA’s education series enhanced participants’ expertise with practical Excel tools, including:
- Freeze Panes to maintain visibility of column headers.
- New Geography Feature for instant data insertion from global datasets.
- Time-saving shortcuts to improve efficiency.
- Interactive Learning: This year, NRTA introduced a game-show-style discussion, “Whose Lease Is It Anyway?”, where landlords and tenants engaged in an educational yet entertaining exploration of lease language and real-world scenarios.
National Real Estate Tenants Association Annual Conference Success
NRTA’s 2024 Annual Conference, held at the Gaylord Texan Resort, was a resounding success. With 60+ classroom presentations and 20 breakout sessions, the event delivered hands-on training and best practices tailored to real estate lease management professionals across all skill levels.
